The time has come to begin Operation Bodenplatte. For the past several months the Luftwaffe has held hundreds of fighter planes and pilots in reserve to strike a concentrated, massive blow against the Allied forces. Today we will attack in great numbers against enemy airfields and destroy their fighters and bombers on the ground before the surprised defenders can react.
This mission requires maximum effort. Fourteen squadron airplanes are available.
